Route

Porto Heli is located 180 kilometres south-western from Athens. Scenery coastal village built amphitheatrically in one of the best naturally sea shelters of Peloponnese, Porto Heli turned in a cosmopolitan destination because of the geographic place and the mild climate.

By Car

The distance from the International airport of Athens (El. Venizelos) is covered by car in approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes and by bus in 3 hours with a stop on the Korinth Canal. The reception of the hotel will help you make a reservation of a rented car delivered at the hotel in Porto Heli upon arrival. The road from Athens follows the direction towards Corinth, a few meters afterwards the Isthmus of Corinth we follow to the right exit Nr.10 directioon Epidavros and under the bridge left with direction to Epidaurus, Kranidi, Porto Heli, Spetses.

In the limits of Ancient Epidaurus (village) exists a right exit with signs for Kranidi and Porto Heli. You follow the exit to the right and afterwards left under the bridge. Continue straight ahead, you go up the mountain and afterwards we have the villages Koliaki and Trahia, with traditional taverns, chese-dairies, bakeries and butchers shops that serve their traditional products.

Direction to Kranidi, Port Heli, Spetses passing the village Fourni. Before Kranidi, at the right a regional road exists. Porto Heli is at 8km distance from that point.

You will find the hotel on the roundabout left towards Kosta, after about 1200 metres.

The road from Corinth up to Porto Heli (100 kilometres) is rich in changes of the natural environment and lasts approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Except if you stop to admire the unique view of old Epidaurus or select to visit the ancient theatre of Epidaurus.

By Train

The suburban – www.proastiakos.gr – will take you to Corinth in a reasonable price. From there, a taxi will take you to Porto Cheli with a charge of approximately 100 Euros for 2014.

By Boat

From the harbour of Piraeus there are daily at least 3 itineraries that cover the way to Porto Cheli with intermediate stations to the islands of Saronic Bay in 2.10 to 2.30 hours approximately depending on the stops on the island Spetses and Hydra.

An alternative route that you can follow on your way back could be a visit to Nafplio (the old city of Nafplio is magic), potentially Mycenaes and for those who like wine, Nemea is only 4kilometres bypass from the highway.

The close distance from the capital, the easy and economic access, has brought Porto Heli at the top preferences for Greek and foreign visitors.
